Colombia stocks lower at close of trade; COLCAP down 0.52%

– Colombia stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Financials , Investment and Public Services sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP lost 0.52%.

The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Cementos Argos Pf (BVC: CCB_p ), which rose 13.39% or 1,050.00 points to trade at 8,890.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Cementos Argos SA (BVC: CCB ) added 6.45% or 590.00 points to end at 9,740.00 and Promigas (BVC: PMG ) was up 5.73% or 430.00 points to 7,930.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Celsia SA (BVC: CEL ), which fell 3.98% or 145.00 points to trade at 3,500.00 at the close. Banco De Bogota SA (BVC: BBO ) declined 3.89% or 1,080.00 points to end at 26,700.00 and Interconnection Electric SA ESP (BVC: ISA ) was down 3.13% or 540.00 points to 16,700.00.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 0 to 0.

Shares in Cementos Argos Pf (BVC: CCB_p ) rose to 5-year highs; rising 13.39% or 1,050.00 to 8,890.00. Shares in Cementos Argos SA (BVC: CCB ) rose to 5-year highs; gaining 6.45% or 590.00 to 9,740.00. Shares in Promigas (BVC: PMG ) rose to 3-years highs; gaining 5.73% or 430.00 to 7,930.00.

US coffee C for March delivery was up 1.48% or 4.50 to $309.30 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in March rose 2.39% or 214.50 to hit $9,186.50 , while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.61% or 16.09 to trade at $2,658.69 a troy ounce.

USD/COP was up 0.42% to 4,403.00, while BRL/COP rose 0.22% to 757.83.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.07% at 106.84.
