Norway stocks lower at close of trade; Oslo OBX down 0.01%

Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Media , Transport and Diversified Financials sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX declined 0.01%.

The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Kongsberg Gruppen ASA (OL: KOG ), which rose 2.46% or 32.00 points to trade at 1,331.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Tomra Systems ASA (OL: TOM ) added 1.74% or 2.70 points to end at 158.30 and Gjensidige Forsikring ASA (OL: GJFG ) was up 1.43% or 2.80 points to 199.20 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL: NAS ), which fell 5.20% or 0.59 points to trade at 10.66 at the close. Hafnia Ltd (OL: HAFNI ) declined 3.30% or 2.10 points to end at 61.60 and Frontline Ltd (OL: FRO ) was down 2.87% or 5.20 points to 175.70.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 162 to 110 and 24 ended unchanged.

Shares in Kongsberg Gruppen ASA (OL: KOG ) rose to all time highs; gaining 2.46% or 32.00 to 1,331.00. Shares in Frontline Ltd (OL: FRO ) fell to 52-week lows; falling 2.87% or 5.20 to 175.70.

Crude oil for January delivery was up 0.65% or 0.44 to $68.44 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 0.60% or 0.43 to hit $72.27 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.58% or 15.54 to trade at $2,665.46 a troy ounce.

EUR/NOK was unchanged 0.01% to 11.67, while USD/NOK rose 1.12% to 11.14.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.79% at 106.66.
