Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Oil & Gas , Financials and Technology sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 gained 0.18%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Samhallsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB (ST: SBBb ), which rose 22.14% or 0.78 points to trade at 4.30 at the close. Meanwhile, NIBE Industrier AB ser. B (ST: NIBEb ) added 2.18% or 0.90 points to end at 43.60 and Getinge AB ser. B (ST: GETIb ) was up 2.01% or 3.50 points to 174.90 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Tele2 AB (ST: TEL2b ), which fell 2.57% or 2.90 points to trade at 110.00 at the close. Svenska Cellulosa SCA AB B (ST: SCAb ) declined 1.75% or 2.50 points to end at 137.90 and AB SKF B (ST: SKFb ) was down 1.49% or 3.20 points to 212.20.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 433 to 330 and 78 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for January delivery was up 0.64% or 0.45 to $70.53 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 1.02% or 0.75 to hit $73.94 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.34% or 9.16 to trade at $2,652.84 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was unchanged 0.00% to 11.49, while USD/SEK rose 0.12% to 10.97.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.18% at 106.85.
