Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Chemicals , Healthcare and Technology sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 1.44%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Demant A/S (CSE: DEMANT ), which rose 4.00% or 10.80 points to trade at 280.60 at the close. Meanwhile, Danske Bank A/S (CSE: DANSKE ) added 2.74% or 5.60 points to end at 210.00 and Ambu A/S (CSE: AMBUb ) was up 2.18% or 2.40 points to 110.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE: MAERSKb ), which fell 3.89% or 475.00 points to trade at 11,725.00 at the close. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CSE: MAERSKa ) declined 3.64% or 430.00 points to end at 11,370.00 and Oersted AS (CSE: ORSTED ) was down 3.22% or 11.00 points to 330.60.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 91 to 43 and 16 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for February delivery was up 0.44% or 0.32 to $73.88 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 0.50% or 0.38 to hit $76.68 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.64% or 16.94 to trade at $2,664.34 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.24% to 7.20, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.02% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.18% at 108.29.
