Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Media , Transport and Diversified Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX fell 0.01%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Kongsberg Gruppen ASA (OL: KOG ), which rose 4.14% or 52.00 points to trade at 1,308.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL: NAS ) added 3.14% or 0.34 points to end at 11.18 and Storebrand ASA (OL: STB ) was up 2.90% or 3.50 points to 124.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Nel ASA (OL: NEL ), which fell 9.62% or 0.31 points to trade at 2.87 at the close. Tomra Systems ASA (OL: TOM ) declined 2.81% or 4.40 points to end at 152.20 and SalMar ASA (OL: SALM ) was down 2.59% or 14.00 points to 527.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 180 to 100 and 24 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for February delivery was down 0.08% or 0.06 to $74.19 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March fell 0.21% or 0.16 to hit $76.89 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.59% or 15.64 to trade at $2,681.04 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.25% to 11.74, while USD/NOK rose 0.63% to 11.40.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.56% at 108.99.
