Sweden stocks lower at close of trade; OMX Stockholm 30 down 0.35%

Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Telecoms , Healthcare and Industrials sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 lost 0.35%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Samhallsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB (ST: SBBb ), which rose 3.79% or 0.18 points to trade at 4.88 at the close. Meanwhile, NIBE Industrier AB ser. B (ST: NIBEb ) added 3.43% or 1.30 points to end at 39.80 and Svenska Cellulosa SCA AB B (ST: SCAb ) was up 2.14% or 3.00 points to 143.40 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson Class B (ST: ERICb ), which fell 3.15% or 2.92 points to trade at 89.66 at the close. Kinnevik, Investment AB ser. B (ST: KINVb ) declined 1.49% or 1.20 points to end at 75.80 and AstraZeneca PLC (ST: AZN ) was down 1.39% or 21.00 points to 1,487.00.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 553 to 223 and 72 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for March delivery was up 2.38% or 1.80 to $77.55 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 1.99% or 1.59 to hit $81.35 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 1.20% or 32.66 to trade at $2,682.34 a troy ounce.

EUR/SEK was up 0.37% to 11.52, while USD/SEK rose 0.68% to 11.28.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.22% at 109.72.
