Denmark stocks lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 0.80%

Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Oil & Gas , Real Estate and Healthcare sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 0.80%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Genmab (CSE: GMAB ), which rose 2.69% or 40.00 points to trade at 1,525.50 at the close. Meanwhile, Ambu A/S (CSE: AMBUb ) added 2.13% or 3.00 points to end at 141.30 and Pandora A/S (CSE: PNDORA ) was up 1.48% or 18.50 points to 1,268.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE: VWS ), which fell 4.37% or 4.30 points to trade at 94.90 at the close. ISS A/S (CSE: ISS ) declined 3.64% or 4.70 points to end at 124.50 and Oersted AS (CSE: ORSTED ) was down 2.72% or 8.40 points to 300.60.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 87 to 52 and 12 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for March delivery was down 2.03% or 1.60 to $77.11 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March fell 1.80% or 1.48 to hit $80.55 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 1.33% or 36.24 to trade at $2,754.04 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was down 0.21% to 7.24, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.00% to 7.46.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.18% at 108.72.
