Finland stocks higher at close of trade; OMX Helsinki 25 up 0.54%

Investing.com – Finland stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Consumer Services , Healthcare and Financials sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 rose 0.54% to hit a new 1-month high.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were KONE Oyj (HE: KNEBV ), which rose 1.80% or 0.84 points to trade at 47.51 at the close. Meanwhile, Mandatum Oyj (HE: MANTA ) added 1.57% or 0.07 points to end at 4.59 and Nordea Bank Abp (HE: NDAFI ) was up 1.56% or 0.18 points to 11.41 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Konecranes ABP (HE: KCRA ), which fell 1.74% or 1.05 points to trade at 59.40 at the close. Cargotec Oyj (HE: CGCBV ) declined 1.43% or 0.69 points to end at 47.45 and Elisa Oyj (HE: ELISA ) was down 1.31% or 0.56 points to 42.34.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 103 to 63 and 23 ended unchanged.

Brent oil for March delivery was down 1.10% or 0.88 to $79.27 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in March fell 1.82% or 1.41 to hit $75.98 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.35% or 9.64 to trade at $2,758.34 a troy ounce.

EUR/USD was unchanged 0.10% to 1.04, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.04% to 0.85.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 1.25% at 107.83.
