Kinder Morgan misses Q4 estimates, shares down

Investing.com -- Kinder Morgan Inc (NYSE: KMI ) shares were down roughly 1% in the aftermarket trading as company’s fourth quarter profit and revenue missed Wall Street estimates.

The Houston, Texas-based company reported fourth-quarter 2024 adjusted earnings of $0.32 per share, missing analysts' expectations of $0.34, while revenue came in at $3.99 billion, falling short of the $4.21 billion consensus.

For the full-year 2025, Kinder Morgan expects adjusted earnings per share of $1.27, aligning with Wall Street estimates. The company also projects dividends of $1.17 per share for 2025.

The energy infrastructure giant also announced plans for the $1.7 billion Trident (NSE: TRIE ) Intrastate Pipeline Project, aimed at enhancing its natural gas transportation capacity in key markets.

“The Trident Intrastate Pipeline Project, an approximately 216-mile pipeline build underpinned by long-term contracts that will provide approximately 1.5 billion cubic feet per day (Bcf/d) of capacity from Katy, Texas to the LNG and industrial corridor near Port Arthur, Texas,” said Chief Executive Officer Kim Dang.
