Investing.com – Greece stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Telecoms , Household and Basic Resources sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Athens, the Athens General Composite fell 0.28%.
The best performers of the session on the Athens General Composite were J. & P. Avax (AT: AVAr ), which rose 5.40% or 0.10 points to trade at 1.95 at the close. Meanwhile, Alpha Bank SA (AT: ACBr ) added 2.52% or 0.04 points to end at 1.79 and Piraeus Bank SA (AT: BOPr ) was up 0.90% or 0.04 points to 4.47 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Premia AE (AT: PREMr ), which fell 3.09% or 0.04 points to trade at 1.25 at the close. Cenergy Holdings SA (AT: CENEr ) declined 2.83% or 0.28 points to end at 9.61 and Iktinos Hellas (AT: IKTr ) was down 2.75% or 0.01 points to 0.35.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Athens Stock Exchange by 76 to 42 and 21 ended unchanged.

Gold Futures for April delivery was down 1.15% or 32.29 to $2,774.31 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in March fell 1.37% or 1.02 to hit $73.64 a barrel, while the April Brent oil contract fell 1.21% or 0.94 to trade at $76.61 a barrel.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.17% to 1.05, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.08% to 0.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.12% at 107.12.
