Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Oil & Gas , Real Estate and Chemicals sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 1.56%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Oersted AS (CSE: ORSTED ), which rose 2.84% or 8.90 points to trade at 322.40 at the close. Meanwhile, AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE: MAERSKb ) added 1.81% or 225.00 points to end at 12,625.00 and Novozymes A/S B (CSE: NSISb ) was up 1.53% or 6.20 points to 412.20 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Zealand Pharma A/S (CSE: ZELA ), which fell 2.73% or 15.00 points to trade at 533.50 at the close. DSV Panalpina A/S (CSE: DSV ) declined 2.63% or 38.50 points to end at 1,424.50 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE: VWS ) was down 2.47% or 2.70 points to 104.60.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 72 to 57 and 19 ended unchanged.
Shares in Zealand Pharma A/S (CSE: ZELA ) fell to 52-week lows; down 2.73% or 15.00 to 533.50.
Crude oil for April delivery was up 1.54% or 1.02 to $67.38 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 1.71% or 1.19 to hit $70.65 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.10% or 2.94 to trade at $2,923.66 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.54% to 6.88, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.27% at 103.75.
