Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Sunday, as gains in the Insurance , Petrochemicals and Energy & Utilities sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share rose 0.22%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Tanmiah Food Company SCJSC (TADAWUL: 2281 ), which fell 0.94% or 1.20 points to trade at 125.80 at the close. Meanwhile, Malath Cooperative Insurance Co (TADAWUL: 8020 ) fell 2.21% or 0.30 points to end at 13.28 and Al Masane Al Kobra Mining Company CJSC (TADAWUL: 1322 ) was up 3.39% or 1.90 points to 57.90 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Mouwasat Medical Services Company (TADAWUL: 4002 ), which fell 3.17% or 2.40 points to trade at 73.30 at the close. Walaa Cooperative Insurance Company SJSC (TADAWUL: 8060 ) declined 0.43% or 0.08 points to end at 18.74 and Almajed 4 Oud Company SJSC (TADAWUL: 4165 ) was down 1.21% or 1.60 points to 130.60.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 196 to 126 and 16 ended unchanged.
Shares in Mouwasat Medical Services Company (TADAWUL: 4002 ) fell to 3-years lows; losing 3.17% or 2.40 to 73.30.
Crude oil for April delivery was up 1.02% or 0.68 to $67.04 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 1.30% or 0.90 to hit $70.36 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.43% or 12.50 to trade at $2,914.10 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.49% to 4.06, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.21% at 103.81.
