Colombia stocks higher at close of trade; COLCAP up 0.40%

Investing.com – Colombia stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Industrials , Services and Agriculture sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP added 0.40%.

The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Ecopetrol SA (BVC: ECO ), which rose 3.63% or 70.00 points to trade at 2,000.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Grupo de Inversiones Suramericana SA (BVC: SIS ) added 3.45% or 1,400.00 points to end at 42,000.00 and Grupo Bolivar SA (BVC: SCA ) was up 3.31% or 2,380.00 points to 74,380.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Etb (BVC: ETB ), which fell 6.78% or 4.00 points to trade at 55.00 at the close. Interconnection Electric SA ESP (BVC: ISA ) declined 1.82% or 360.00 points to end at 19,400.00 and Mineros SA (BVC: MAS ) was down 1.67% or 90.00 points to 5,300.00.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 0 to 0.

US coffee C for May delivery was up 0.17% or 0.65 to $387.80 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in May rose 0.96% or 79.00 to hit $8,266.00 , while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.25% or 7.29 to trade at $2,919.31 a troy ounce.

USD/COP was up 0.63% to 4,134.00, while BRL/COP rose 0.30% to 713.93.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.26% at 103.76.
