Investing.com – Italy stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Industrials , Travel & Leisure and Technology sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Milan, the Investing.com Italy 40 declined 0.34%.
The best performers of the session on the Investing.com Italy 40 were Telecom Italia (BIT: TLIT ), which rose 3.81% or 0.01 points to trade at 0.28 at the close. Meanwhile, Hera (BIT: HRA ) added 2.91% or 0.10 points to end at 3.68 and Saipem SpA (BIT: SPMI ) was up 2.65% or 0.05 points to 2.04 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Leonardo SpA (BIT: LDOF ), which fell 6.43% or 2.97 points to trade at 43.20 at the close. Brunello Cucinelli (BIT: BCU ) declined 3.97% or 4.60 points to end at 111.40 and Iveco Group NV (BIT: IVG ) was down 3.86% or 0.63 points to 15.56.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Milan Stock Exchange by 326 to 208 and 47 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for April delivery was up 1.19% or 0.79 to $67.15 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 1.34% or 0.93 to hit $70.39 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.10% or 2.99 to trade at $2,923.61 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.65% to 1.09, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.38% to 0.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.38% at 103.64.
