Norway stocks lower at close of trade; Oslo OBX down 0.39%

Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Media , Transport and Diversified Financials sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX declined 0.39%.

The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Equinor ASA (OL: EQNR ), which rose 4.28% or 10.80 points to trade at 263.05 at the close. Meanwhile, Nel ASA (OL: NEL ) added 3.54% or 0.07 points to end at 2.05 and Aker BP ASA (OL: AKRBP ) was up 1.71% or 3.90 points to 231.80 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Hafnia Ltd (OL: HAFNI ), which fell 6.61% or 3.16 points to trade at 44.68 at the close. Frontline Ltd (OL: FRO ) declined 6.57% or 11.75 points to end at 167.05 and Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL: GOGL ) was down 4.82% or 4.54 points to 89.70.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 188 to 87 and 27 ended unchanged.

Shares in Hafnia Ltd (OL: HAFNI ) fell to 52-week lows; falling 6.61% or 3.16 to 44.68. Shares in Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL: GOGL ) fell to 52-week lows; losing 4.82% or 4.54 to 89.70.

Crude oil for April delivery was down 0.60% or 0.40 to $66.64 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 0.68% or 0.48 to hit $69.88 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.10% or 2.89 to trade at $2,911.21 a troy ounce.

EUR/NOK was down 0.56% to 11.67, while USD/NOK fell 0.84% to 10.77.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.02% at 103.84.
