Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Biomed , Technology and Oil & Gas sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 fell 0.65%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Ormat Technologies (TASE: ORA ), which rose 3.90% or 990.00 points to trade at 26,370.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Strauss Group (TASE: STRS ) added 2.09% or 164.00 points to end at 8,000.00 and OPC Energy Ltd (TASE: OPCE ) was up 1.76% or 57.00 points to 3,287.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE: TSEM ), which fell 5.65% or 800.00 points to trade at 13,350.00 at the close. Camtek Ltd (TASE: CAMT ) declined 4.53% or 1,130.00 points to end at 23,820.00 and Shikun & Binui (TASE: SKBN ) was down 4.35% or 50.00 points to 1,100.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 344 to 111 and 83 ended unchanged.
Shares in Camtek Ltd (TASE: CAMT ) fell to 52-week lows; down 4.53% or 1,130.00 to 23,820.00.
Crude oil for April delivery was down 0.43% or 0.29 to $66.75 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 0.55% or 0.39 to hit $69.97 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.07% or 1.94 to trade at $2,912.16 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.56% to 3.64, while EUR/ILS rose 0.34% to 3.94.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.05% at 103.86.
