Investing.com – Turkey stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Wholesale & Retail Trade , Leasing & Factoring and Sports sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Istanbul, the BIST 100 fell 0.81%.
The best performers of the session on the BIST 100 were Mia Teknoloji AS (IS: MIATK ), which rose 7.63% or 2.96 points to trade at 41.76 at the close. Meanwhile, Enerya Enerji AS (IS: ENERY ) added 7.06% or 16.20 points to end at 245.70 and Sdt Uzay ve Savunma Teknolojileri AS (IS: SDTTR ) was up 6.28% or 13.00 points to 219.90 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were BIM Birlesik Magazalar AS (IS: BIMAS ), which fell 6.76% or 37.50 points to trade at 517.00 at the close. Migros Ticaret AS (IS: MGROS ) declined 6.46% or 36.00 points to end at 521.50 and Ard Grup Bilisim Teknolojileri AS (IS: ARDYZ ) was down 5.60% or 1.82 points to 30.68.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Istanbul Stock Exchange by 371 to 197 and 23 ended unchanged.
Gold Futures for April delivery was down 0.03% or 0.91 to $2,913.19 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in April fell 0.40% or 0.27 to hit $66.77 a barrel, while the May Brent oil contract fell 0.51% or 0.36 to trade at $70.00 a barrel.
USD/TRY was up 0.17% to 36.55, while EUR/TRY rose 0.23% to 39.61.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.05% at 103.86.
