Sweden stocks lower at close of trade; OMX Stockholm 30 down 2.13%

Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Healthcare , Oil & Gas and Industrials sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 lost 2.13%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were SAAB AB ser. B (ST: SAABb ), which rose 3.96% or 14.60 points to trade at 383.40 at the close. Meanwhile, Telia Company AB (ST: TELIA ) added 1.16% or 0.41 points to end at 35.73 and ABB Ltd (ST: ABB ) was up 0.94% or 5.20 points to 557.80 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were H & M Hennes & Mauritz AB B (ST: HMb ), which fell 6.04% or 9.00 points to trade at 140.10 at the close. Hexagon AB ser. B (ST: HEXAb ) declined 4.82% or 5.70 points to end at 111.60 and Volvo, AB ser. B (ST: VOLVb ) was down 4.51% or 14.80 points to 313.70.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 603 to 172 and 70 ended unchanged.

Shares in SAAB AB ser. B (ST: SAABb ) rose to 52-week highs; rising 3.96% or 14.60 to 383.40. Shares in Telia Company AB (ST: TELIA ) rose to 52-week highs; up 1.16% or 0.41 to 35.73.

Crude oil for April delivery was up 0.45% or 0.30 to $66.33 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 0.53% or 0.37 to hit $69.65 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.83% or 24.19 to trade at $2,923.59 a troy ounce.

EUR/SEK was up 0.07% to 10.96, while USD/SEK fell 0.83% to 10.03.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.60% at 103.33.
