Investing.com – Finland stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Industrials , Technology and Basic Materials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 lost 1.13%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Sampo Oyj A (HE: SAMPO ), which rose 0.44% or 0.04 points to trade at 8.60 at the close. Meanwhile, Mandatum Oyj (HE: MANTA ) unchanged 0.04% or 0.00 points to end at 5.43 and Elisa Oyj (HE: ELISA ) was up 0.04% or 0.02 points to 46.24 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Cargotec Oyj (HE: CGCBV ), which fell 3.35% or 1.57 points to trade at 45.20 at the close. KONE Oyj (HE: KNEBV ) declined 2.72% or 1.50 points to end at 53.64 and Outokumpu Oyj (HE: OUT1V ) was down 2.44% or 0.09 points to 3.69.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 109 to 60 and 18 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for May delivery was up 0.56% or 0.39 to $69.67 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in April rose 0.48% or 0.32 to hit $66.35 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.82% or 23.91 to trade at $2,923.31 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.84% to 1.09, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.40% to 0.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.60% at 103.33.
