Israel stocks higher at close of trade; TA 35 up 0.70%

Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Insurance , Financials and Communication sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 added 0.70%.

The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Harel (TASE: HARL ), which rose 5.00% or 322.00 points to trade at 6,758.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Phoenix Holdings Ltd (TASE: PHOE ) added 4.89% or 330.00 points to end at 7,080.00 and Nova (TASE: NVMI ) was up 4.81% or 3,760.00 points to 81,870.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were NICE Ltd (TASE: NICE ), which fell 2.62% or 1,380.00 points to trade at 51,200.00 at the close. Electra Ltd (TASE: ELTR ) declined 2.32% or 4,570.00 points to end at 192,430.00 and Azrieli Group Ltd (TASE: AZRG ) was down 1.89% or 520.00 points to 27,000.00.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 235 to 214 and 89 ended unchanged.

Shares in Harel (TASE: HARL ) rose to all time highs; up 5.00% or 322.00 to 6,758.00. Shares in Phoenix Holdings Ltd (TASE: PHOE ) rose to all time highs; gaining 4.89% or 330.00 to 7,080.00.

Crude oil for April delivery was down 1.15% or 0.78 to $66.90 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 1.00% or 0.71 to hit $70.24 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 1.43% or 42.20 to trade at $2,989.00 a troy ounce.

USD/ILS was up 0.71% to 3.66, while EUR/ILS rose 0.46% to 3.98.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.18% at 103.78.
