Investing.com – Colombia stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Financials , Investment and Public Services sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP lost 0.53%.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Cementos Argos SA (BVC: CCB ), which rose 2.56% or 240.00 points to trade at 9,610.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Grupo Energia Bogota SA ESP (BVC: GEB ) added 2.52% or 70.00 points to end at 2,845.00 and Grupo Aval Acciones y Valores SA Pref (BVC: GAA_p ) was up 2.21% or 13.00 points to 600.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Grupo de Inversiones Suramericana SA (BVC: SIS ), which fell 0.98% or 400.00 points to trade at 40,400.00 at the close. Corporacion Financiera Colombiana SA (BVC: CFV ) declined 0.58% or 100.00 points to end at 17,200.00 and Canacol Energy Ltd (BVC: CNE ) was down 0.37% or 40.00 points to 10,880.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 0 to 0.
US coffee C for May delivery was down 0.27% or 1.05 to $385.70 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in May fell 2.45% or 205.00 to hit $8,150.00 , while the April Gold Futures contract rose 1.85% or 54.45 to trade at $3,001.25 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.12% to 4,125.00, while BRL/COP fell 0.12% to 711.15.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.16% at 103.76.
