Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Industrials , Financials and Consumer Goods sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 lost 0.32% to hit a new 1-month low.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were AstraZeneca PLC (ST: AZN ), which rose 3.19% or 48.50 points to trade at 1,569.00 at the close. Meanwhile, NIBE Industrier AB ser. B (ST: NIBEb ) added 2.26% or 1.00 points to end at 43.40 and Getinge AB ser. B (ST: GETIb ) was up 2.07% or 4.40 points to 217.30 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were SAAB AB ser. B (ST: SAABb ), which fell 3.47% or 13.50 points to trade at 375.00 at the close. Volvo, AB ser. B (ST: VOLVb ) declined 2.19% or 6.90 points to end at 308.80 and Kinnevik, Investment AB ser. B (ST: KINVb ) was down 2.08% or 1.60 points to 73.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 389 to 360 and 75 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for April delivery was down 1.37% or 0.93 to $66.75 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 1.27% or 0.90 to hit $70.05 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 1.51% or 44.40 to trade at $2,991.20 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.90% to 11.07, while USD/SEK rose 1.09% to 10.19.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.15% at 103.75.
