Investing.com – Finland stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Oil & Gas , Consumer Services and Industrials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 rose 1.02%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Valmet Oyj (HE: VALMT ), which rose 2.56% or 0.69 points to trade at 27.69 at the close. Meanwhile, Neste Oyj (HE: NESTE ) added 2.36% or 0.21 points to end at 9.01 and Cargotec Oyj (HE: CGCBV ) was up 2.34% or 1.04 points to 45.52 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Kesko Oyj (HE: KESKOB ), which fell 2.36% or 0.45 points to trade at 18.63 at the close. Elisa Oyj (HE: ELISA ) declined 0.82% or 0.38 points to end at 45.92 and Fortum Oyj (HE: FORTUM ) was down 0.61% or 0.10 points to 15.50.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 113 to 58 and 17 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for May delivery was up 0.80% or 0.56 to $70.44 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in April rose 0.83% or 0.55 to hit $67.10 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.30% or 8.89 to trade at $3,000.19 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.29% to 1.09, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.47% to 0.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.14% at 103.68.
