Investing.com – Morocco stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Pharmaceutical Industry , Real Estate and Banking sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares rose 0.75%.
The best performers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Stokvis Nord Afrique (CSE: SNA ), which rose 9.86% or 2.55 points to trade at 28.40 at the close. Meanwhile, Ste de Travaux de Realisation d’Ouvrages et de Constuction Industielle SA (CSE: STR ) added 4.44% or 2.00 points to end at 47.00 and Aradei Capital SA (CSE: ARD ) was up 3.88% or 18.50 points to 495.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Miniere Touissit (CSE: CMT ), which fell 3.26% or 58.00 points to trade at 1,720.00 at the close. S2M (CSE: S2M ) declined 2.79% or 12.00 points to end at 418.00 and Marocaine Ste de Therapeutique SA (CSE: SOT ) was down 2.37% or 26.00 points to 1,070.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Casablanca Stock Exchange by 36 to 14 and 7 ended unchanged.
Shares in Stokvis Nord Afrique (CSE: SNA ) rose to 5-year highs; up 9.86% or 2.55 to 28.40.
Crude oil for April delivery was up 0.75% or 0.50 to $67.05 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 0.73% or 0.51 to hit $70.39 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.28% or 8.26 to trade at $2,999.56 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was up 0.14% to 10.55, while USD/MAD fell 0.29% to 9.67.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.13% at 103.69.
