Investing.com – Norway stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Healthcare Equipment & Services , Pharma Biotech & Life Sciences and Utilities sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX added 0.77% to hit a new all time high.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Kongsberg Gruppen ASA (OL: KOG ), which rose 4.69% or 74.00 points to trade at 1,651.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Nordic Semiconductor ASA (OL: NOD ) added 3.02% or 3.90 points to end at 133.15 and Storebrand ASA (OL: STB ) was up 1.56% or 2.00 points to 130.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Nel ASA (OL: NEL ), which fell 14.42% or 0.47 points to trade at 2.79 at the close. Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL: GOGL ) declined 5.13% or 4.38 points to end at 80.92 and Frontline Ltd (OL: FRO ) was down 3.36% or 5.65 points to 162.45.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 152 to 113 and 32 ended unchanged.
Shares in Kongsberg Gruppen ASA (OL: KOG ) rose to all time highs; rising 4.69% or 74.00 to 1,651.00. Shares in Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL: GOGL ) fell to 52-week lows; falling 5.13% or 4.38 to 80.92.
Crude oil for April delivery was up 0.72% or 0.48 to $67.03 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 0.67% or 0.47 to hit $70.35 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.13% or 3.99 to trade at $2,995.29 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.18% to 11.59, while USD/NOK unchanged 0.00% to 10.66.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.04% at 103.79.
