Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Media , Transport and Diversified Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX lost 0.53%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Orkla ASA (OL: ORK ), which rose 1.46% or 1.60 points to trade at 111.40 at the close. Meanwhile, Telenor ASA (OL: TEL ) added 1.08% or 1.60 points to end at 150.00 and Equinor ASA (OL: EQNR ) was up 1.03% or 2.75 points to 270.85 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Nel ASA (OL: NEL ), which fell 4.80% or 0.14 points to trade at 2.88 at the close. Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL: GOGL ) declined 3.98% or 3.34 points to end at 80.58 and Frontline Ltd (OL: FRO ) was down 3.31% or 5.90 points to 172.10.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 136 to 132 and 28 ended unchanged.
Shares in Orkla ASA (OL: ORK ) rose to 5-year highs; rising 1.46% or 1.60 to 111.40. Shares in Telenor ASA (OL: TEL ) rose to 3-years highs; gaining 1.08% or 1.60 to 150.00. Shares in Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL: GOGL ) fell to 52-week lows; down 3.98% or 3.34 to 80.58.
Crude oil for May delivery was down 0.16% or 0.11 to $67.96 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 0.32% or 0.23 to hit $71.77 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.91% or 27.64 to trade at $3,016.16 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.34% to 11.40, while USD/NOK rose 0.06% to 10.55.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.33% at 103.84.
