Colombia stocks higher at close of trade; COLCAP up 0.07%

Investing.com – Colombia stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Industrials , Services and Agriculture sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP rose 0.07%.

The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Grupo de Inversiones Suramericana SA Preferred (BVC: SIS_p ), which rose 79.90% or 16,620.00 points to trade at 37,420.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Grupo Bolivar SA (BVC: SCA ) added 17.89% or 11,260.00 points to end at 74,200.00 and Grupo de Inversiones Suramericana SA (BVC: SIS ) was up 11.10% or 4,000.00 points to 40,020.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Grupo Nutresa SA (BVC: NCH ), which fell 5.88% or 7,180.00 points to trade at 115,020.00 at the close. Canacol Energy Ltd (BVC: CNE ) declined 4.68% or 580.00 points to end at 11,820.00 and Mineros SA (BVC: MAS ) was down 2.70% or 140.00 points to 5,040.00.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 0 to 0.

US coffee C for May delivery was down 0.51% or 2.00 to $390.15 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in May fell 2.90% or 234.00 to hit $7,837.00 , while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.51% or 15.60 to trade at $3,028.20 a troy ounce.

USD/COP was down 0.77% to 4,148.00, while BRL/COP fell 1.62% to 724.17.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.30% at 103.81.
