Denmark stocks lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 2.33%

Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Financials , Oil & Gas and Healthcare sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 2.33%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CSE: MAERSKa ), which rose 0.88% or 100.00 points to trade at 11,480.00 at the close. Meanwhile, AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE: MAERSKb ) added 0.87% or 100.00 points to end at 11,645.00 and Jyske Bank A/S (CSE: JYSK ) was up 0.77% or 4.50 points to 587.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Danske Bank A/S (CSE: DANSKE ), which fell 5.22% or 12.70 points to trade at 230.70 at the close. Rockwool International B (CSE: ROCKb ) declined 3.21% or 104.00 points to end at 3,136.00 and Novozymes A/S B (CSE: NSISb ) was down 3.07% or 12.70 points to 400.40.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 86 to 35 and 20 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for May delivery was up 0.28% or 0.19 to $68.26 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 0.11% or 0.08 to hit $72.08 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.70% or 21.19 to trade at $3,022.61 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was up 0.27% to 6.89, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.02% to 7.46.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.21% at 103.71.
