Investing.com – Greece stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Banking , Telecoms and Household sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Athens, the Athens General Composite declined 0.60%.
The best performers of the session on the Athens General Composite were Holding Company ADMIE IPTO SA (AT: ADMr ), which rose 5.11% or 0.15 points to trade at 2.98 at the close. Meanwhile, Fourlis Hld (AT: FRLr ) added 3.66% or 0.15 points to end at 4.25 and Cenergy Holdings SA (AT: CENEr ) was up 2.57% or 0.24 points to 9.58 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Eurobank Ergasias SA (AT: EURBr ), which fell 3.38% or 0.09 points to trade at 2.57 at the close. Bank of Cyprus Holdings PLC (AT: BOCHGRr ) declined 2.97% or 0.18 points to end at 5.88 and National Bank of Greece SA (AT: NBGr ) was down 2.39% or 0.24 points to 9.80.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Athens Stock Exchange by 73 to 55 and 16 ended unchanged.
Shares in Holding Company ADMIE IPTO SA (AT: ADMr ) rose to all time highs; up 5.11% or 0.15 to 2.98.
Gold Futures for June delivery was up 0.88% or 27.19 to $3,118.09 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in May fell 0.96% or 0.67 to hit $69.25 a barrel, while the June Brent oil contract fell 0.97% or 0.71 to trade at $72.63 a barrel.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.18% to 1.08, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.30% to 0.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.25% at 103.73.
