Turkey stocks higher at close of trade; BIST 100 up 0.49%

Investing.com – Turkey stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Real Estate Investments , Sports and Telecoms sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Istanbul, the BIST 100 gained 0.49%.

The best performers of the session on the BIST 100 were Pasifik Eurasia Lojistik Dis Ticaret AS (IS: PASEU ), which rose 9.97% or 3.52 points to trade at 38.82 at the close. Meanwhile, Koza Anadolu Metal Madencilik Isletmeleri AS (IS: KOZAA ) added 7.63% or 6.15 points to end at 86.75 and Koza Altin Isletmeleri AS (IS: KOZAL ) was up 7.02% or 1.90 points to 28.96 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Anadolu Hayat Emeklilik AS (IS: ANHYT ), which fell 4.35% or 4.00 points to trade at 87.85 at the close. Turkiye Vakiflar Bankasi TAO (IS: VAKBN ) declined 4.08% or 1.02 points to end at 23.96 and Is Yatirim Menkul Degerler AS (IS: ISMEN ) was down 3.64% or 1.52 points to 40.26.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Istanbul Stock Exchange by 429 to 146 and 23 ended unchanged.

Shares in Koza Anadolu Metal Madencilik Isletmeleri AS (IS: KOZAA ) rose to all time highs; gaining 7.63% or 6.15 to 86.75. Shares in Koza Altin Isletmeleri AS (IS: KOZAL ) rose to 52-week highs; up 7.02% or 1.90 to 28.96.

Gold Futures for June delivery was up 0.79% or 24.40 to $3,115.30 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in May fell 0.66% or 0.46 to hit $69.46 a barrel, while the June Brent oil contract fell 0.74% or 0.54 to trade at $72.80 a barrel.

USD/TRY was up 0.17% to 37.98, while EUR/TRY rose 0.55% to 41.17.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.39% at 103.58.
